For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus coming to earth. As Christians, we are extra happy and grateful that Jesus was born. It means the start of a whole new opportunity for people. Jesus saw that people could not always be kind to each other or live as God wanted them to. He wanted to help us so badly, and so He came to earth. He gave up all His glory in heaven, and was born into this world, as a human being, like us. To save us from our sins and give us an eternal hope.
Christmas films for children
For children, Christmas is about being close to family and friends, presents, and everything else that goes with the traditional Christmas celebrations. But children also love hearing the story of when Jesus was born. That’s why we’ve made our very own animated film about this for children aged 3-5.

The story behind the Christmas celebration
On our theme page for children aged 6-11 years, we offer resources that can be used in Sunday schools during Advent. Watch the exciting and beautiful presentation of the story behind the Christmas celebrations in the animated series “Journey to the Beginning”, produced in its entirety by BCC Media.
The series is divided into three parts, but also combined as a 15-minute film. It can be split into three different sessions before Christmas, or watched as one film.
Go to the theme page and watch the film here.
